Dear Justice

Dear Justice,

Can you give me an ETA,

Because we’re suffering at the hands of this Government every day. 

We elected a black president…. and let me just say,

This country has become more racist is so many ways. 

The police don’t care they’re the most dangerous gang,

And this justice system loves to create slaves and put us in chains,

Because they get a kick back this slavery is modern day.

 Willy Lynch wasn’t playing when he put his law to control us into play.

 We worry about war but could care less about who’s starving,

Especially if their skin is brown or even darkened.

If they live in the Middle East, it seems we have beef

Because we are a “Christian” country who hates other for their beliefs.

The corruption of the church nowadays runs so deep,

That these hustling preachers and priest feed on children like demons in heat.

I’m no longer religious because I’m divinely guided;

Extremely spiritual my eyes are no longer blinded… 

Justice I’ve never seen you but hope that you’re real,

For years they’ve told us you were coming

But never seem to arrive here. 

So please hit me back and tell me what’s the deal,

Because I’m fed up with this place like candy rain….I’m so for real….

Fact vs. Emotions

“There’s not much difference between Pimp and a Preacher… it’s all about charisma.” This is a statement my Grandmother (RIP) used to tell me. She would always tell me to “listen to what people claim and judge their actions against their words.” That’s a very powerful statement and one that has given me clarity into the nature of people.

We live in a society where most people are extremely selfish and self-centered.  From government to churches, the most “intelligent” and “spiritually guided people” have failed the masses. The question is who is at fault for that? Are they at fault for lying or us for believing the lie?

Let’s be honest with ourselves, 9 times out of 10 when you realize a person “ain’t s**t” you’ve known it for sometime but didn’t want to accept it. Why? Because instead of making decisions based on facts, most let their emotions guide their decisions.

Emotions can be manipulated but facts cannot. Check out the following examples:

·         Fact: Eddie Long engaged in sexual misconduct with under aged men. Emotion: Even though what he did is wrong by criminal and biblical standards he is given a pass by his church because of the LOVE they have for him and BELIEVE he’s innocent.

·         Fact: For over 4 days people in New Orleans sat waiting for a government to save them. Emotion: They TIRED but couldn’t get there because of the destruction (funny we have technology to land on the moon and clone animals but couldn’t get there huh?)

Man is an imperfect creature and should be evaluated as such. How can you trust those that can’t trust themselves? My Grandmother (RIP) used to tell me, “never put your trust in man, because man will fail you every time.”

Stop trusting a man in a pulpit to show you who God is, find him for yourself. Stop waiting on this failed prejudice government to help the poor, we have to help ourselves. We are the answers to our problems, but like a pimp does a hoe we let others dictate what we find to be acceptable.
